Group Cohort Programme Outline
Session 1 - Choosing a Direction
Tuesday 9 June 6-7pm
Focus: Establishing the right direction in the degree apprenticeship market.
Purpose
To move students from limited understanding of degree apprenticeships to a credible, employer‑recognisable direction while keeping options open.
Session 2 - Work Experience & Volunteering
Tuesday 16 June 6-7pm
Focus: Building a coherent set of experiences ready for degree apprenticeship applications.
Purpose
To help students understand how employers interpret experience, and how to use the summer to build or reframe it.
Session 3 - Micro Credentials & Personal Projects
Tuesday 23 June 6-7pm
Focus: Curating a set of personally motivated experiences that make the candidate stand out at the application stage.
Purpose
To help students build authentic signals of interest and initiative.
Session 4 - Personal Branding: Turning Experience into Signals
Tuesday 7 July 6-7pm
Focus: Presenting a professional profile that demonstrates relevant potential.
Purpose
To create a professional LinkedIn profile and CV.
Session 5 - Degree Apprenticeship Opportunities & Timing
Tuesday 8 Sept 6-7pm
Focus: Ensuring each student has a clear strategy in place to avoid missing opportunities.
Purpose
To help students understand where, when, and how degree apprenticeship opportunities appear.
Session 6 - Applications, Assessments & Interviews
Tuesday 15 Sept 6-7pm
Focus: Understanding how a standout candidate presents themselves.
Purpose
To reduce avoidable rejections and help candidates perform consistently across different selection methods.

Career profiling assessment with follow-up 1:1 coaching session and personalised report and recommendations (ideally completed prior to the start of the group cohort programme)

Job Application Support Plus
Bespoke scheduling
Support to create a strong application for one job, including a 60 minute coaching / consultancy session, and follow up support to finalise the application.

Interview Preparation Duo
Bespoke scheduling
A 60-minute 1:1 interview coaching session bespoke to the target role, video recorded for feedback and post session review, followed by a second 60-minute 1:1 practice interview for the target role, again video recorded for feedback and post session review.

The Degree Apprenticeship Accelerator includes career profiling assessment and review, job application support during the program (subject to reasonable usage), and interview preparation coaching and practice.
In addition to dedicated 1:1 coaching sessions, students have ongoing access to their coach between sessions for guidance and support (subject to reasonable usage), ensuring momentum is maintained and issues are addressed as they arise.
